As a child, Claire found herself naturally living the role of curious explorer and caregiver offering food and shelter to stray animals. During college, she studied human biology and medical anthropology where she was exposed to the wide range of healing methods used by cultures across the globe. Always curious about science and biology, she was hired to work in a biochemistry lab that investigated the physiological connections between bipolar disorder and the brain. Encouraged by her colleagues, Claire pursued graduate studies in Human Biology where she earned her Master’s degree in 2008. While in graduate school, she discovered her passion for working with people and sharing her enthusiasm for education. Upon realizing that she enjoyed the company of people far more than lab equipment and test tubes, Claire decided to pursue her clinical doctorate degree in alternative medicine and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013. Since then, she has been practicing functional medicine and chiropractic medicine in Austin, TX.
