  • Dermoneuromodulating: a very gentle application that addresses cutaneous nerves via lateral skin stretch, introducing oxygen and thus restoring “safe” operating protocols; thus reducing tension/pressure on danger/”pain” receptors, resulting in a reduction of both tension and perceived discomfort. It is excellent for clients whose bodies do not respond well to deeper modalities, due to inflammatory response and/or fascial recoil.
  • Watsu 1 (50 hrs)

Margarita has an intuitive approach, and combines her massage skills to provide each client with the session their bodies need, that day. Assessment and inquiry help her tailor your session; observation and intuition guide her hands; along with your clear feedback via the “Pressure Rainbow.”

Each session includes “Hoopment for Self-Care” guidance, along with a pre & post session walk. The pre-session walk assists in assessment, as well as prepares your tissues to receive bodywork; the post-session walk helps your nervous system integrate the changes that occurred during your massage.

Margarita started training in Watsu, and with completion Watsu 1 (2017), may provide you aquatic therapy, in the Lotus Pool; Judy approved!

Helping people help themselves is my passion.

I am a facilitator who gently reminds your body where it needs attention, and that you are safe; thus helping you engage your body’s self-repair system. You are the healer; I respectfully assist.

Self-care is necessary for not just each body to operate smoothly, but for humanity as whole—when we take care of ourselves, we feel better. When we feel better, our nervous systems can recognize that we’re safe—which may change how we interpret and interact/communicate with the world around us, and the people in it.

My goal is to help increase self-awareness through self-care; and to encourage self-care through play— fun movement therapy that supports our bodies, increases mindfulness, and stimulates silliness.

I am a HOOPTEE, seeking more HOOPTEES—Happy Open Observant Playful Timeless Embracing Everything Souls, to ride the Chao together, as it takes us to the Be state. And PHAT KATs–Patient Helpful Appreciative Transitional Kind Authentic Transparent…and HOOPKATS…Allovus.

I predominantly provide housecalls for massage therapy; Hoopment classes and workshops are facilitated at Sol.

At Sol I will be providing primarily aquatic sessions; if you would like a table session, and cannot receive at home, we can coordinate a Sol studio session.
